LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH... History
What is our history?
The New Landmark Baptist Church started in April of 2006 with a merger between Lighthouse and Landmark
Baptist Church. Back in roughly 2004 Eric P. Davis was sent out of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hooksett
NH to start a new church (Lighthouse Baptist) in the Boscawen NH area. After 2 years of reaching souls in
the area and building a good core they were on their way but lacked a permanent facility. At Landmark, the pastor
gave his resignation and the church was without a pastor, but had a building and property. So Landmark's deacon
called Pastor Ron Clow of Emmanuel, who had been giving pulpit supply, to set up a time to talk. Well, God
worked out a meeting between Pastor Clow, Pastor Davis and LBC's deacon Bill Saunders. The outcome of the
meeting was a desire to merge Landmark Baptist and Lighthouse Baptist Church. This was brought up to both
churches and the decision was made and validated by a vote. That first united church service was one of
excitement and enthusiasm. A soul was saved that first service and the churches seamlessly merged into one...
the New Landmark Baptist Church. About a month later Pastor Davis called Paul Clow to be the associate pastor of
Landmark. Within a year the church reached lost souls, started new ministries and completed the new church
building. In May of 2007 God called Pastor Davis to return to Emmanuel Baptist and Pastor Paul Clow was voted in
with 100% vote to take the church to the next level.
